The volunteer army of the Lord
3 Your people will offer themselves willingly in the day of Your power, in the beauty of holiness and in holy array out of the womb of the morning; to You [will spring forth] Your young men, who are as the dew.
Psalm 110:3 AMPC
Shalom everyone, this is the day the Lord has made and we get to live it!
All born again believers are called to be a part of the Lord's army. His army is a "volunteer only" force and sadly not many answer the call to enlist.
Those who choose to be a part of this last days company are the ones who greatly value this calling and do what they can to be a part of it.
We see in the Bible there were first born or first chosen individuals who rejected their calling and it was given to someone who valued it.
The people who enlist in the Lord's army see this as the greatest opportunity to be a part of on the earth.
Today's text is clear, "Your people will offer themselves willingly in the day of Your power".
One of the indicators of the last days Church will be the demonstration of Kingdom power:
"7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give."
Matthew 10:7-8 NASB95
We are in those days, are we demonstrating Kingdom power?
"For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power."
1 Corinthians 4:20 NASB95
Ask your self this very important question, "Am I enlisting in the Lord's army?"
